kmovies provides a platform for streaming premium African short films. We offer both free and premium subscription-based content. The Platform curates festival-grade films from African filmmakers worldwide.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the service at any time without notice.

3. User Accounts

To access certain features of the Platform, you must create an account. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use
• Providing accurate and current information

4. Subscription and Payment

Premium subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis. By subscribing, you agree to:

• Pay all subscription fees in the selected currency
• Automatic renewal until you cancel
• Accept that prices may change with 30 days notice
• Our refund policy as stated in section 5

5. Cancellation and Refunds

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Upon cancellation:

• You will retain access until the end of your current billing period
• No refunds will be provided for partial months
• Premium content will become inaccessible after the period ends
• Your account and viewing history will be preserved

6. Content and Copyright

All content on kmovies, including films, images, text, and graphics, is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. You agree to:

• Not download, copy, or redistribute any content
• Not circumvent any DRM or access controls
• Use content solely for personal, non-commercial viewing
• Respect the rights of filmmakers and copyright holders

7. Prohibited Uses

You may not use the Platform to:

• Share your account with others
• Use automated systems to access the service
• Attempt to reverse engineer or hack the Platform
• Upload viruses or malicious code
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations

8. Filmmaker Rights

Filmmakers who submit content to kmovies retain ownership of their work. By submitting, filmmakers grant kmovies a non-exclusive license to distribute, stream, and promote their films on the Platform. Filmmakers receive fair compensation based on viewership and subscription revenue.

9. Privacy and Data

We collect and process personal data as described in our Privacy Policy. By using kmovies, you consent to such collection and processing. We are committed to protecting your privacy and will never sell your personal information to third parties.

10. Limitation of Liability

kmovies is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for your subscription in the past 12 months.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your account at any time for violations of these terms, fraudulent activity, or any other reason we deem necessary. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform will immediately cease.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes via email or platform notification. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

13. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Nigeria. Any disputes arising from these terms or use of the Platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Nigerian courts.
